The Carousel Kit is a carousel maker that runs inside Claude Code on your own computer. Most carousel tools give you a canvas and leave the writing to you; this kit does it the other way around. Claude Code writes the slides from your idea using a skill built for carousels (a hook that earns the swipe, one idea per slide, a call to action at the end), then renders them with a small local renderer and checks its own work before you see it.
Who it’s for
It’s for founders, creators, freelancers and marketers who post carousels on Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok every week and want them on brand without opening a design app. If you already use Claude Code, you get a carousel maker that knows your colors, your handle and your voice, and that you can change by asking. If you don’t use it yet, the guide Install Claude Code takes about ten minutes.
How it’s different from an online carousel maker
- It writes and designs. You give the topic and the facts; Claude Code drafts the slides and lays them out.
- It looks at the result. The renderer builds a contact sheet and flags text that doesn’t fit, so Claude Code fixes slides before handing them over.
- It’s yours. The templates are plain CSS and the slides are a JSON file. Change anything, keep everything, render as often as you like.
- Nothing leaves your machine. No account, no upload, no watermark and no monthly fee for the kit itself.
Questions
Do I need to know how to code? No. You need Node.js installed and Claude Code; after one setup command you only talk to Claude Code.
Which sizes does it make? Instagram 4:5 and square, LinkedIn PDF documents, and 9:16 slides for TikTok, Reels and Stories.
Can I use my own fonts and colors? Yes. Set them once in brand.json (or ask Claude Code to), and every template uses them.
How do I get it? It comes with Nexin: one payment of $27 opens every skill, kit, prompt and template in the library, and the kits added later.
