This tool counts the days between dates in your browser. Give it a start date and an end date and it returns the gap as days, as weeks and days, as years, months and days, and as the number of weekdays. Nothing is sent to a server, and it spends no credits.
How to count the days between two dates
Subtract the start date from the end date. From Wednesday, October 21, 2026 to Friday, December 25, 2026 there are 65 days: 9 weeks and 2 days, or 2 months and 4 days. Counted by hand, that means adding up the rest of October, all of November and part of December. Here you pick two dates, and the days between dates appear at once.
Should the end date count?
By default the count is the difference between the two dates, so October 21 to October 22 is one day. When both the first and the last day matter, as in a hotel stay billed per day, a leave request or an event that runs from one date through another, tick “count the end date too”. October 21 to December 25 then becomes 66 days.
How many weekdays are between two dates?
The tool also counts Monday to Friday. From Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 13, 2026, with the end date counted, there are 12 days, and 10 of them are weekdays. Public holidays are not removed, so subtract any that fall in the range yourself when you count working days.
Longer spans
From October 21, 2026 to June 15, 2027 there are 237 days: 33 weeks and 6 days, or 7 months and 25 days. Years, months and days are handy for a contract term or a project length; the plain day count is what most deadlines and interest periods use.

Does the weekday count skip public holidays?
No. It counts Monday to Friday. Holidays differ by country and region, so remove them yourself.
