This wheel spinner turns a list of options into a wheel you can spin in your browser. Type up to 200 entries, one per line, press Spin, and the wheel slows down onto the winner. Nothing is sent to a server, and it spends no credits.
How to make a decision with a spinning wheel
Write each option on its own line: dinner choices, movies, weekend plans, the next task on a list. Spin, and go with where the wheel stops. Every entry has the same chance, so with 4 options each has a 1 in 4 chance. When none of the options is clearly better, a wheel spinner ends the back-and-forth in a few seconds.
Is the wheel fair?
The winner is not decided by how hard the wheel spins or where it was. It is drawn first with crypto.getRandomValues, the browser’s cryptographically secure random generator, and only then does the wheel turn and land on that entry. The animation shows the result; it doesn’t make it. Shuffle changes the order of the slices, which keeps the wheel from looking the same every time, but it doesn’t change anyone’s odds.
Using the wheel in games
- Party games: put dares, questions or challenges on the wheel and spin one per turn.
- Game night: spin to choose which board game to play, or who starts.
- Prompts: a drawing, writing or workout challenge, one spin at a time.
- Tournaments: spin with “remove the winner” on to set an order until everyone has a slot.
Spin once, or work through the list
Leave the winner on the wheel when the same option may come up again, like a daily lunch pick. Turn on “remove the winner after each spin” to use every option exactly once, like taking turns or ordering tasks. Each spin then picks from what is left.
What it doesn’t do
The wheel is deliberately plain: lists are not saved between visits, there is no sound, and there is no link to share a wheel. Keep your list in a note and paste it back when you need it.
FAQ

Choosing a student or a giveaway winner? The Random Name Picker is the same wheel, set up for names.
